Creating an Optimal Environment for On-Site Training
General Training Room Requirements
Our courses require a distraction-free, private room with adequate seating for all delegates. Movable furniture, proper ventilation, and appropriate temperature control are necessary. The venue needs to comply with the 2010 Equality Act, and should ideally be a public building or school; we do not conduct training at residential addresses. Please ensure the space is available to our trainer 30 minutes before the course begins. Parking or unloading space should also be accessible for our trainers to unload equipment.
Practical and Specific Course Requirements
Certain courses have additional space requirements. For practical First Aid courses, for instance, we need sufficient floor space (at least the size of a double bed for every two delegates) for demonstrations like CPR. If the floor isn't carpeted, please arrange for gym-style mats. For Fire Marshal courses, we need outdoor space equivalent to two car parking spaces for fire extinguisher practice. In case of Mental Health First Aid courses, learners must have adequate personal space (1.5m apart), and the room must facilitate a controlled assessment atmosphere.
